French Singing Competition

French Singing Competition

The Francophone Song Competition – now a tradition – is currently celebrating its 16th edition. After –M- in 2014 and Joyce Jonathan in 2015, this year is Izia Higelin the sponsor of the competition ! She will be present at the final !

Young Chinese people between 18 and 25, who are learning French and who have a minimum level of B1, are invited to display their singing talents by performing excerpts chosen from a list of 60 Francophone songs for the 6 regional finals across China. The winners will receive national-level awards in the form of six travel scholarships to France. So come along and support our finalists and discover new artists who may turn out to be something special… Shang Wenjie, patron of Fête de la Francophonie this year and a finalist of the 2001 competition, is now an accomplished singer.
A trip to France will be rewarded to the best performing singer.
