The Francophone Song Competition – now a tradition – is currently celebrating its 16th edition. After –M- in 2014 and Joyce Jonathan in 2015, this year is Izia Higelin the sponsor of the competition ! She will be present at the final !
Young Chinese people between 18 and 25, who are learning French and who have a minimum level of B1, are invited to display their singing talents by performing excerpts chosen from a list of 60 Francophone songs for the 6 regional finals across China. The winners will receive national-level awards in the form of six travel scholarships to France. So come along and support our finalists and discover new artists who may turn out to be something special… Shang Wenjie, patron of Fête de la Francophonie this year and a finalist of the 2001 competition, is now an accomplished singer.
A trip to France will be rewarded to the best performing singer.

Présence of Izia Higelin at Shanghai final
In Shanghai, more than 40 Chinese students will sing French songs in front of a panel of judges invited to evaluate the participants on specific criteria such as memorizing, phonetics, voice quality, beat and stage performance.
Come and share this unique moment with us, to honor famous French singers– Françoise Hardy, Claude Nougaro, Francis Cabrel, Anggun, Superbus, Brigitte, Stromae and many more … and in the presence of Izïa Higelin. In Shanghai, Izia Higelin will share the stage with the French rock/funk singer Mathieu Chedid, alias ‘M’, who is considered by his peers in France to be among the most talented musicians of his generation.
For the 2nd consecutive year, a Chinese video platform will be the exclusive partner of the French singing competition final in Shanghai. The performances of the candidates will be broadcasted live on their website: music.pptv.com
