Join us to experience this unique moment when young theatre lovers will surprise you with their talent !

University students drama festival is organised every year in Shanghai by the Service for Cooperation and Cultural Action-Consulate general of France-French Institute in China and in cooperation with universities and Sino-French institutes : Shanghai International Studies University, East China Normal University, Shanghai Normal University, Fudan University, Shanghai University, Shanghai Jiaotong University-Paristech Elite Institute of Technology-SinoEuropean University of technology of Shanghai University.

From the Middle Ages to the present day, spanning cultural differences and personal di-lemmas, experiencing passionate love and gluttonous desires, looking for truth and a way of life, French-speaking Chinese students will take you to a world where laughter and suspense intertwine,  where sharing and humanity prevail.

What have we done to God ? -  ECNU

In a traditional French catholic family, three daughters marry foreigners. The play depicts conflicts between their parents and their husbands. How to live in harmony despite cultural differences?

Scenes from Pantagruel  - SHNU

Pantagruel is a classic comic from French Middle-Ages literature.  Come and meet this giant character and his friends for some roaring laughter!

I cannot belive it ! - Shanghai Jiaotong University-Paristech Elite Institute of Technology
This original play, created by the students themselves, show how to deal with cultural differences on a daily basis.

I am flying -  SISU

From the French movie, La famille Bélier, this play tells the story of Paula, a young junior high school student, who has a gift for singing.

We turn mad and end up alone –Sino-European University of technology of Shanghai University

Carmen, Dom Juan and many anonymous others ! 12 young comedians, students in love engineering who have shared Carmen’s tumultuous passion, pondered over love with Don Juan and probed into the mysteries of seduction, will present a medley of those stories which tend to end up badly.

Chocolate eaters - Fudan University

The audience will meet three young women who suffer from an addiction to chocolate but refuse to look for its cause. Their therapist, powerless, ends up hearing unusual confidences from these women. The spectator embarks on a funny and impertinent journey.
