Converging views : how are French and Chinese industries responding to environmental challenges?

Sustainable development, innovation and economic performance are intrinsically linked nowadays. Companies faced with 21st century challenges have had to adapt their economic models in order to put in place procedures and offer products that are more sustainable from both an environmental and social point of view.

What are the best practices already in place and how can innovation support this new reality and its demands?

François Henri Pinault, CEO of the Kering Group, invits various key players from academia, companies and civil society to share their vision and discuss the latest progress in the development of more resilient business models. These converging views should encourage the next generation to place sustainable development at the heart of their thoughts and actions.

Kering is World leader in luxury apparel and accessories (Gucci, Bottega Veneta, Saint Laurent, Alexander Mcqueen, Balenciaga, Puma). The Kering group has imagined an innovative tool: the Environmental Profit & Loss account (E P&L) which allows entreprises to mesure their environmental footprint.
