Fu Lei translation training program

"To have green fingers", "carbon dioxyde", "Gulfstream", "global warming". What do all these expressions have in common? They all belong to a particular lexical field: the environment.

Calling on several trainers, including Emmanuel Delannoy, Grégory Quenet, Wang Canfa, Quan Zhigang and also Wang Yuan, the 16th Fu Lei translation training program offers to train young professional translators in the vocabulary specific to the environment, for three days and for free. Understanding what is at stake in ecology and conveying that message through translation: such is the ambition.
The training offers the following themes:
- "Commonly used expressions in the ecology and environment sector";
- "How the vocabulary of scientific ecology changes the economic thought";
- "NGOs and the defense of the environment";
- "Legislative vocabulary of the environment"; etc.
