Cine-concert | Serge Teyssot-Gay improve on the German film Nosferatu

During his tour in China, Serge Teyssot-Gay (co-founder and ex-member of Noir Désir) improvises on the masterpiece of German expressinist film, Nosferatu

Nosferatu: A Symphony of Horror is a 1922 German Expressionist horror film, directed by F. W. Murnau. The film, shot in 1921 and released in 1922, was an unauthorized adaptation of Bram Stoker's Dracula, with names and other details changed because the studio could not obtain the rights to the novel (for instance, "vampire" became "Nosferatu" and "Count Dracula" became "Count Orlok »). Stoker's heirs sued over the adaptation, and a court ruling ordered that all copies of the film be destroyed. However, a few prints of Nosferatu survived.

« A long time rock n’ roll guitar pro, I always aspired to breaking new musical frontiers. During and since my time with NOIR DESIR (band co-founded in the 80’s ending in 2003) I never stopped playing with musicians, from around the world, collaborating with authors, painters, dancers and movie directors from all walks of life and horizons, setting up duos, trios, big bands or solos. An endless quest which has sometimes granted me with an answer. My moto is independence. INTERVALLE TRITON is the label I created to rise above a decrepit music industry which has dug the grave it is now lying in. Welcome to my world of projects ».
