It was in 2010 that the four musicians of Manceau emerged on the scene thanks to a well-received first EP. Two years later, the Manceau quartet were making their first album. With Xavier Boyer and Pedro Resende from Tahiti 80, Manceau released Life Traffic Jam on their own label Monophonics.

The disc opened doors at all the big French music festivals (Transmusicales, Printemps de Bourges, Main Square, Francofolies…), but the music of Manceau was destined to travel further, as far as Japan. Released there on JVC, the album was so well received that it marked the beginning of a close relationship with the Asian continent.

After the French Miracle Tour took in China, Taiwan and South Korea in 2015, Manceau set up more tour dates in Asia and signed several distribution contracts, while they got to work underground on their second album which is just seeing the light of day now. Produced by Julien Vignon aka Timster and mixeed by Stéphane Alf Briat (Air, Sébastien Tellier, Phoenix, Cassius…), I Wanna

Is full of the spirit of voyage and adventure. Resolutely pop, it keeps the organic and acoustic sound of its Britpop heros while also being completely modern. Naïve, sometimes sunny, always carried by strong melodies, I Wanna is a journey by ten little tubes with the power to unveil the treasures of melancholy.
