Rising stars of the French jazz scene and multi-awarded musicians, Vincent Peirani (accordion) and Emile Parisien (soprano saxophone) join forces to form an extremely creative duo which pays tribute to Sydney Bechet, Henry Lodge, Duke Ellington as well as playing original compositions.
Vincent Peirani discovered jazz when he was 16 years old and managed to convince his sceptics with his original method of playing his instrument. He gained international recognition by winning the Django Reinhardt prize and ‘Best Musician of the Year 2013’. He also received the prize for ‘Best Newcomer of the year’ at the Victoires du Jazz in 2014.
Trained in Marciac - the city of jazz in the South of France - Emile Parisien worked and played with great artists early in his career. He was awarded ‘Musicien of the Year’ at Les Victoires du Jazz in 2014 and ‘Best Musician of the Year’ at the Django Reinhardt in 2013.
