Towards a new ecological, inclusive economy —— Emmanuel Delannoy

Towards a new ecological, inclusive economy —— Emmanuel Delannoy

Entrepreneur, lecturer, writer, Emmanuel Delannoy has contributed to the founding of the French Agency for biodiversity. He was also mandated by the government to conduct research on the potential for employment linked to biodiversity.

Between theory and practice, through the INSPIRE Institute he created (, he stimulates and implements the ecological reinvention of the economy by guiding companies and territorial spaces in their strategic reflections and transitions.
Invited last year to fly the green banner high, Emmanuel Delannoy has, through strength of beliefs, charmed a large audience attending his lectures and has contributed to convince the CLAP publishing house to release a whole collection of books on the environment.
Emmanuel Delannoy is coming back this year for a series of lectures and master-classes on the following topics:
- "Living together: on the emergency of reviving links with nature and non-human living beings";
- "What would a bio-inspired city with a place for everyone look like?";
- "Building a space for urban biodiversity makes the city more livable for us all";
- "Networks, connectivity, permeability, porosity, multifunctionality. Tomorrow's cities will be bountiful, creative, adaptable. In one word: alive";
- "Cooperate more and better. From interdependency to solidarity";
- "For a new, solidarity-based economy".

Permaecology and Economy explained to humains (French publishers: Wildproject) will be published in China by China Literary and Art Publishing in September 2017 as part of the Franco-Chinese Month of the environment. That is why Emmanuel Delannoy will participate to the launch of the "Development in green" collection !

Basing his research on a systemic vision and an interdisciplinary approach combining philosophy, economy and ecology, Emmanuel Delannoy advocates for a new ethics of the relations between human and non-human living creatures and proposes new micro- and macro-economic models which take into account the physical limits of the biosphere. He also offers concrete measures to adapt managerial practices within companies and territorial organizations. From theory to practice, he bets on permaeconomy, biomimetism, collective intelligence and ecological solidarity.
