Awareness workshops Friends of Nature, Chengdu Roots & Shoots, Eco-Canton
Friends of Nature, Chengdu Roots & Shoots, Eco-Canton
79% of household waste is thrown in the garbage when it could be recycled instead. Several awareness workshops will be organized to help young people understand good practice in sorting, managing and reducing waste.
What is waste sorting? How to make an object from recyclable waste? How to make recycled paper, a herbarium and a wallet based on everyday objects... An awareness of the value of used objects helps us reflect on consumption.
These fun educational workshops will be organized by environmental NGO Friends of Nature in Beijing and Shenyang, Roots & Shoots in Chengdu and Eco-Canton in Guangzhou, and will address themes of garbage sorting, reduction and management.
